The educational materials also aims to teach for understanding since it is important that your teen understands the concepts being presented.

Geometry

BJU Geometry (4th Edition) introduces students to a balanced study of geometric theorems and real-life applications. Students will study formal definitions, reasoning, congruence, similarity, constructions, two- and three-dimensional figures, coordinate geometry, transformations, and trigonometry. Several historical fiction accounts introduce students to key figures in mathematical history and provide opportunities for biblical worldview shaping, while “Geometry Around Us” sections highlight real-life applications of geometry.

Algebra 2

BJU  Algebra 2 educational materials from BJU Press, your child will learn concepts such as linear, quadratic, polynomial, radical, and rational functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, and probability and statistics. Complex numbers are also covered throughout the text. Additionally, your child will learn how each concept can be applied to real-life situations. Each lesson contains additional cumulative review exercises strategically designed to help students retain information from previous lessons as well as thorough development of key concepts and detailed examples to promote student comprehension.

PRE-CALCULUS

BJU Lessons in Precalculus thoroughly develop key concepts, provide detailed examples to promote student comprehension, and integrate practical applications. Exercise sets include three levels of difficulty to allow differentiated assignments. Each section includes cumulative review to help with long-term mastery and to prepare students for standardized tests. Students will have the opportunity to use technology to explore mathematical concepts.
