Seventh graders will explore the foundations of modern civilizations, fundamental math concepts, essential grammar and writing skills, and life science. Each subject expands on previously learned information in preparation for more complex courses ahead. Literature introduces students to a whole new reading level, using themed units to present great works of fiction and teach literary criticism.
Academy of Excellence invests in Bible curriculum for grades 1-12 that
presents clear instruction in writing and grammar, including an overview of the Writing Process and many focused writing activities. It covers all eight parts of speech, the five basic sentence patterns, usage concepts such as agreement, and mechanics. Adjective clauses and complex sentences are also introduced. Writing projects include a biographical sketch, an in-class essay, a letter to the editor, and a book report.

Fundamentals of Math covers mathematical concepts such as fractions, percents, probability, statistics, and integers and also introduces students to algebra. The educational materials aims to demonstrate to students how to apply math in everyday life and how to use math to fulfill the biblical dominion mandate. The educational materials also enhances critical thinking skills by challenging students to think of different ways to solve problems.
Life Science provides a thorough overview of the life sciences exploring the living world from cellular biology and genetics to zoology and ecology.

World Studies provides a fresh look at the civilizations of the world through the lens of a Christian worldview. It begins with a brief review of history from Creation to the coming of Christ and progresses in a chronological journey around the world studying the ebb and flow of empires, cultures, Christianity, and world religions, concluding with an examination of the trends of the emerging 21st century. These civilizations are explored with regard to their Geography, History, Government, Economics, Religion, and Culture.
